The inspector program started in 2007 when the Town of Lowell and Lowell Volunteer Fire Dept. Inc. decided to take a more pro-active approach to the safety and well being of  the citizens of the Town of Lowell.  Inspections are now done on all new construction, both residential and commercial, as well as a yearly inspection on all businesses.

The Primary inspector is Denny Wilkening, with provisions made for other part-time inspectors.  All inspectors are certified by the state to an Inspector II/III level.  (The highest level possible for the state.)
